I love holidays. The biggest reason? I get to spend time with my family. My family includes; Mom, Dad, Spencer, Ashley, Jacque, Tyler, Carissa, and now Curtis and Talon. Let's start out with an introduction of everyone.Mom- Probably the craftiest person I know. Some awesome memories are coming home from school and her having cookies/brownies for us to eat. My favorite thing is when she and Rissa get into an argument.. It can be pretty funny.
Dad-Oh Dad... He's gone a lot with work and church stuff.. but when he's home, he's a party animal. Okay, not all the time. But I can remember times when he'd be making breakfast and would just randomly burst into song and dance. Yup, that's my Dad :D
Spencer- Big brother. Always has the coolest toys. When he moved it made me so sad because I never got the chance to go on a food run for him.. and I miss him. My favorite memories are; playing Xbox with him, him trying to get us to do dishes for him for money ( I never wanted to...), and he always gave us his leftover fries and chicken nuggets.
Ashley-The eat-and-run sister. Okay not really, but we like to tease her about that. She is also crafty. ( We are a crafty family..) I loved playing in her dance dresses!! (Okay, I still do...) And she has the cutest little boy ever!!
Jacque- My twin. Seriously, I look like her and sound like her. It was cool at first, but now it's gotten to the point where I'm like "People.. I am Michaela" haha jk it's really not bad, but answering the phone is a pain. We share a lot of stories :)
Tyler-Hmm... Annoying? Haha. He got better after being gone two years. Those two years were reallllly long. Don't worry, I still have one more year before the my other "brother" Tyler comes home. His friend acts like he lives here... Yeah not all that fun ;)
Carissa- Rissa Roo!! We are pretty tight. Maybe it's the fact that we are only 18 months apart? But we look like we are from completely different families. Since we both don't have any friends we play together a lot. (Just kidding, we both have friends, most of which are the same)
Curtis and Talon- Coolest Brother-in-law! Took me and Rissa for a ride in his Jeep one time, probably the coolest thing EVER! Talon is the cutest little nephew! He is getting SO big!! Taking care of him over the summer was awesome and now that I don't get to see him everyday, it makes me a little sad.
Well that's my family in a nutshell. Since Spencer and Ashley are gone, it just doesn't seem the same. That's why I like holidays, cause then it can be just a little like the good ol' days. We may seem quiet to some people.. but when we get together it can get pretty loud. We have had some awesome times, from Capri-Sun wars, to awesome camping trips, to Apples to Apples games where everyone has that one card, and just chilling in our backyard like white trash.
